Had a few negatives with this surgery, the lastest being given a wrong test result. I discovered this after the surgery then contacted me to tell me my results were positive and had no idea that they had previously informed me I'd been given an all clear. A complaint written two weeks ago has had no reply. The medical issue has been ongoing since early 2015. This alone is enough for me not recommend the surgery. Confronted with rude attitude from one particular receptionist time and time again, took weeks and weeks to get registered in the first place, didn't note my correct details from registration - i.e. tried to remove me from their practice register when I moved outside their catchment despite this not being applicable for students. Charged £10 for a letter to prove my chronic illness to Student Finance so that I could apply for Disabled Student Allowance despite me explaining that my income is so low that I have a HC2 certificate for full NHS costs. Felt great writing a personal cheque to my doctor for nearly a whole weeks worth of food so I could apply for something I'm entitled to due to my disability. Should have just requested my records, in hindsight.

I would not allow any friend or reletive attend this practice it's impossible to get appointments and when you as for one you get the receptionist tell you what care I need you book appointments for them to cancel the next day every time you have a good doctor they leave within a year and the surgery don't inform you the doctors that are there don't help and then you end up in hospital within a week I have since decided that for my health and my families we will be leaving the doctors
I needed to have a blood test and I explained to my GP that I often faint. She arranged for me to have a double appointment to allow more time to be taken with me.
The phlebotomist Silvia Oroz-Zubieta was incredibly kind to me. She put on classical music to relax me, opened the window to let fresh air in, put a pillow under my feet to elevate them and minimise the fainting symptoms. She was open and clear in explaining what was going to happen and showed me my records on the computer screen. I felt respected and well treated and I really appreciated the time she took to put me at ease.
Both my mother and father, both in their mid-nineties, have been cared for by the doctors and the nurses at this surgery for a great number of years. On all occasions, from the receptionists and admin staff to the nurses and Doctors, my dealings with all of them have been beyond reproach.
They are all both courteous and caring and have, when required acted with speed and efficiency to resolve my parents' medical requirements.
My father unfortunately died last year but was equally fulsome in his praise for those who had cared for him prior to his hospitalisation and subsequent demise.
My mother has regularly attended this practice in the last few years for a variety of reasons and is thriving on the care and attention, (and kindness), she has received from all here. in particular the wonderful nurses who's patience and skill are both in abundance to witness.
